We are delighted to announce that O’jos, the brand we created for Concha y Toro, has recently been voted the best innovation of the year in the sparkling wine category of the Product of the Year awards. The competition is the UK’s largest consumer survey of product innovation, with over 10,000 shoppers voting each year to crown the winning products in each category.
The win is especially pleasing given the brand is entirely new; winners in other categories were for product launches from brands with a firmly established and heavily supported brand such as M&Ms, Kellogs, Nescafe and Coca Cola.
Apart from some sampling at railway stations, O’jos was not promoted at launch, so this win shows just how much impact an emotionally engaging brand and pack design can have with consumers. Proving that an investment in great brand and packaging design can deliver a remarkable return on investment.
